  • Can Worklink help me get the required skills for employment?

    Worklink can assist you with identifying what skills you require, liaise with training providers and develop work readiness skills. Worklink may be able to assist with training courses.

  • How does Worklink help me find employment?

    Your Employment officer will initially develop an employment with you to determine you employment pathway. Your employment officer will also assist with job searching, marketing potential employers and applying for advertised jobs.

  • What support will I be given?

    You will be given support with resume development, training and job seeking. Once employment is gained we will worked with you to assist you in maintaining employment.

  • Am I eligible for the program?

    You are eligible for the DES Program if you:

      are between the age of 14 – 65 years of age are an Australian resident have a diagnosed Mental Health Issue
  • What is the Disability Employment Service?

    The Disability Employment Service has two programs funded by the Department of Social Services (DSS):

      The Disability Management Service (DMS) provides assistance for job seekers that require short term support to maintain employment. Our specialist service provides vocational rehabilitation to assist job seeks to find and maintain work. The Employment Support Services (ESS) provides support for job seekers who will need long term support to maintain their employment. ESS provides specialist assistance that requires ongoing support to find and maintain employment.
